Young Artist Of Anoka

Congratulations Tristin O'Byrne

(Anoka High School Senior)

***Come take a selfie and #HalloweenWall ***

Each year, the south ramp wall of the walking tunnel under Main Street in Downtown Anoka, will be painted with a new Halloween theme for that year.  It will be a focus for visitors that come to Anoka for all the Halloween events and will become a  prime photo opportunity and will be hashtagged #HalloweenWall

How did this wall start?  Years ago, this wall used to have a mural painted on it, I was told as we painted the "Windows of Time" Project in the tunnel, according to passers by.  Then it was painted over a solid color for years.  A few days before the ribbon cutting for "Windows of Time" I chose a graffiti artist, Sean, to help me paint a Halloween mural and surprise the kids for the ribbon cutting in August 2015.
